Day & Knight bedroom design and fitting is a small family company specialising in the manufacture and installation of bespoke fitted bedroom furniture. We have worked for some of the largest bedroom companies in the UK and as a result of our experiences, have created a company that offers the service that you deserve. We at Day & Knight consider that as you are spending your hard earned money creating the bedroom of your dreams, this should be a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

The most valuable information gained from working with those larger companies was that attention to detail and high service levels are a must to the key to our success and the future of our company. We also recognised that sending salesmen and surveyors with no fitting experience out to potential customers is a recipe for disaster and a guarantee for dissatisfaction. At Day and Knight, we will send the same person to you to design your bedroom, survey the design and return and fit your wardrobes at the time of your choice.  We will perform a seamless operation where you will only have to deal with one person throughout the whole process, unlike the larger companies where you will deal with potentially five representatives at different stages of the process.  At Day & Knight, the designers are fully qualified bedroom surveyors and carpenters and not ‘in-house’ and ‘on the job’ trained.  Most large bedroom furniture manufacturer’s only offer standard sizes doors and drawer fronts because to stop a machine run to accommodate one order is too expensive.  Day & Knight buy products in from various manufacturers enabling us to offer a wider range of colours and sizes. If you require a gloss pink angled door, that is 800mm wide, we can provide it. The majority of houses do not have standard shaped bedrooms.  Most have awkward shapes, sloping ceilings or chimney breasts - our carpenters can fit wardrobes into every contour of the room. Some bedroom manufacturers claim to offer fitted wardrobes however, in reality they use a combination of standard flat pack size wardrobes in the spaces provided with infill pieces placed around the sides and top giving an impression of fitted wardrobes.  This method fools the customer into believing they have utilised all available space but actually creates approximately 20% wastage.
